I suppose you could say that I'm putting off the inevitable, but my dilemma involves HO couplings! Yes, I have the standard coupling and also the Fleischmann close couplings. At present most of my freight stock, being mainly Roco, is the standard coupling, but having recently purchased some Fleischmann freight cars, they have their own close couplings. Most of my passenger cars are of the close-coupling variety, which isn't really too much of an issue, as I use separate loco's for passenger and freight trains. However, having looked at both Roco and Fleischmann standard couplers, there is a considerable difference in price, and I wonder why? I had considered using KD's as I've plenty of experience of them on my US layout. Obviously I am looking at standardising on one type. Any thought please?
