There´s a small dog here in Rødvig that belongs to the (former) proprietor of the (ceased trading) Rødvig Motor A/S. It has the disturbed habit of jumping from the wharf into the harbour and swimming around to moored yachts (moored perpendicular to the wharf with ropes from the boats to the wharf and with other ropes to vertical poles in the water). It then swims under a likely rope and lunges up at the rope and grabs the rope with its jaws. Next it yelps furiously while it tries to work its way along the rope so it can try to clamber into the target boat, depending on its success - after which it then jumps overboard and repeats the process - or lets go furiously and swims back under the rope, and starts again.

It resembles the bear in the use of its mouth and teeth for climbing or negotiating ropes.

There´s another dog which throws a stick in the water with its mouth then swims out and retrieves the stick, puts the stick on the ground ashore, runs around and comes back to pick up the stick excitedly, and repeats.

I don´t have any photographs of this process.

Whoever was photographing the bear either did not take any more useful pictures of that incident or does not want to show what happened next. Pity, I am intrigued as to the final outcome.
