Thanks, Klaus.  I would never have figured that out from the diagram in my manual.  However, when I try it, I get the result below.  (Sorry for the rubbish picture quality.)  The body does not spread in the middle, as if it was glued to the frame.  What do you think?

BTW I think the proper English word for the "thingie" is a cam, as on a camshaft in a motor.
