Sorry,

I don't think that Brawa will release the BR24 (remember this is not a wish list) as Roco will have much of the chassis tooling from their BR64.

Is it so hard to predict the future, surely it is a matter of 'filling the gaps' whilst looking at what the manufacturers had previously released?

When Fleischmann's S10 was released, I was astounded by the sheer boldness of their choice, a model that would have limited appeal to a small sector of the market. But surely this was their advantage, they are opening a new market that has been neglected for the past few years? Add Brawa's heavy weight KPEV coaches to the equation and it makes perfect sense.

Maybe Fleischmann's BR95 is not such a bad guess, it spans at least four eras and is a popular locomotive, equally suited to the main and branchline, it should do rather well.

Gutzold's BR58 Reko looks like another difficult choice as it really is just Ep3/4 and a limited area but the DR seems to enjoying popularity since the mid 90's.

So what next? I doubt if Roco will have the backing to issue anything but repaints for the next couple of years but that is rather cynical.

MaTrix have problems of their own and do we really want yet another dupilcation of an existing model from them?

That leaves Piko, Bachmann and Brawa- just expect the unexpected.

Me? I am hoping something nice from PMT, they have not disappointed so far.
