So does Dietz's... I think they have some connection (no pun intended) with Uhlenbrock - ie I think Uhlenbrock's sound technology may be that of Dietz.

A word of caution though- even though most PC speakers are not "hi-fi" quality, the sound files may sound quite different when played through your PC speakers rather than through a sound decoder and speaker - in particular bass response is likely to change quite a lot. I don't know the detail of the sound files, but I think it's likely that bass response might be boosted on the sound files to compensate in some way for the 29mm diameter speaker used on a sound decoder, so playing this back on a PC may make the sound "bass heavy".... just speculation, but I would imagine it would be quite difficult to get a sound file to sound the same way on a PC as it would generated by a sound decoder.
