Hello,
I read another posting dealing with mysterious "little green boxes" in a picture posted in the topic. These were described as Läutewerke. Although the picture promted some discussion about the term Läutewerk, it was never referred to in English.
I'm translating a document about Siemens & Halske which mentions Läutewerke, and despite being a keen railway modeller for many years (in the UK), I've never noticed having come across them on English railways, even though I even built my own signals of plasitcard and balsa wood. I guess perhaps they weren't even used in England, but I would be very grateful if you could give me any more information & perhaps enlighten me as to what they are called in English.
Cheers,
David
