Hello.
Normally it's me who tries to answer these questions. But in this particular case I had a look at many books and journals and couldn't find anything useful. So here is the story.
I purchased a Märklin E70 (early Bundesbahn version, the prototype was withdrawn in 1951) some time ago. It was used mainly on the Berchtesgarden line. My sources always say, that it was a really useful locomotive and drivers liked her. But I couldn't find any picture in front of a train or similar.
But what was the loco used for? Passanger trains? Freight trains? Banking?
If it was used as a passanger train engine, what types of coaches did it pull? 4wheelers? 8wheelers? Or the well known Bavarian 6wheelers? Branchline trains or even express trains on that line (high speed 50km/h and express train do not go well with each other IMHO)?
Questions and questions again.
