Here are some more scenes.
The town of Altkloster sits above the railway, on a wall that is 25 feet high.
Here is part of the town, with a granary, and two houses (Gersheim and Webach), and the rear of an office building.I did not have room to model the street in front of the houses.
And here is the railway side.
You can see that the outer main line is electrified, and the inner lines are for steam and diesel traction.I have an interchange section between the electrified and non-electrified lines, where I change engines (electric to steam/diesel or vice versa).
regards
Kimball

Because the shed has a roll up door, viewers can watch trains from the back garden.
The layout can run 4 trains continuously, round and round, on 2 double track main lines.
A close look at the 4 bridges area, a small stream that enters the Upper Rhine.
Enjoy.

Here is the town streetscape, showing offices, from the back yards of the Gersheim and Webach houses.

Thank you Roger. It is simple, trains can speed round and round, but I do have 5 small shunting areas.
I must correct the tilt evident in the streetscape. The fault lies with the right side office building.

Thank you Alan and Roger.
Yes, sometimes I feel a bit hemmed in, like a commander in a space module.I would prefer to operate from the outside looking in.
My next step is to electrify some turnouts to reduce the stretching to far-flung parts of the empire.
Must try the mirror, I have seen that work well on display layouts.
Roger do you belong to any local clubs?

Hi Giampola,
Thank you.
About the dream, do you mean Australia? Or the shed? :-)Here, the saying is "every man must have a shed"!
