Usenet.nl probably has the most non-user friendly website on the planet.
I was misguided enough to use their introductory service ('free' trial period) for some downloads last October)
I found a few items that I wanted, however I then found that they could not supply certain items that they had advertised.
I cancelled after three days, cancelled the preset Paypal statement and left a note on their contact form. A few weeks later I received an invoice for a 9-month subscription. I ignored it as I had been led to believe that I had already cancelled well within the 7-day grace period
Last week a second invoice arrived at my Netherlands contact address incorporating an extra penalty amount.
Accepting that I may have made a mistake, by not cancelling in a way they recognised, I paid the 9-month subscription. Not an enormous amount, but it would have paid for a coach or two.
O.K. I've paid, so I'll make use of the damn thing. The snag: when I try to log in, the login details, which Usenet provided to me via email, are not recognised, I even need to log in to complete a contact form.
Their U.K. phone line requires me to fill in my login details, which are not recognised in this case either.
I've tried about four times so far.
An expensive mistake!
