I have checked with the Mods and this topic is approved!
As I have decided to concentrate on modelling Prussian outline H0 as my main focus, I have (reluctantly) decided to sell some of my Bavarian models. I wanted to offer these models to members first as I feel this place is like a club! If you're interested in any of these, PLEASE contact me by PM (private message) NOT by posting in the topic via the "interact" button!. Please also be aware this topic may be closed/removed at any time! If there is no interest, no worries as I will be putting them on Ebay later on but not at these prices! I am well aware that members here may live anywhere in the world, therefore, I am happy to post anywhere in the world.
Now the formal stuff is out of the way, let's go!
Here is and always was, the pride of my fleet: A Micro Metakit K. Bay. Sts. B G5/5 0-10-0 goods locomotive.
I believe that if you 'click' on the picture, it should take you to my Flickr album, where there are many more photos.
This is model number 41 of 160, built in 1993, item number: 93300H of the prototype loco number: 5803, built by J.A. Maffei in 1911.
I purchased this loco from Germany in July 2006 for a total of £1050. All I would really like is to get my money back on this!
I confess - I have test run it - you can see there is a little bit of 'muck' on the wheels here and there but I haven't cleaned it just in case. What I can say is that I have always been extremely careful to use the supplied gloves when handling it (including photographing it today!). I can also say that it really does run like a Swiss watch and it is fascinating to watch the inside valve gear working. However, it has only been run the once and that was probably nearly ten years ago. If this goes on Ebay, I will have to start it at an additional £150, just to cover the costs!
These are as follows;
44811 - 12 wheel Green Kings saloon.
45580 - 8 wheel 1/2 composite.
45582 x 2 - 8 wheel third.
45583 - 8 wheel baggage.
Now, these are fitted with the 'Swallowtail' coupling and over the years, some of these became loose so I have glued in the Fleischmann Profi coupling on a couple of coach ends.
I have left the original Roco close coupler in the boxes, along with any loose Fleischmann couplers (& the supplied Euro coupler heads), along with all the extra detail parts and paperwork. These have been run on my friends layout and even on the MMRS layout "Slattocks"! But I believe them to still be in very good condition and I have seen the 8 wheel coaches go for around £70 on German Ebay and the Kings Saloon? Wow! That can go for a lot of money! So, I would ask £300 for this train, preferably the whole train to sell in one go.
Finally, I have a Prussian to sell! I love the T10 but I bought this one a year or more before the new Fleischmann sound fitted model came out.
It is item number: 4903, a 2006 model that came to me in June 2015. I suspect the £187 I paid was a little over the top but at the time, they were rather rare. So, I shall ask for £150 for this superb running machine. I believe that it came from a set so there is no box, the one in the photo was just used as a background but I can supply it in a red/yellow box if that helps?
Just to reiterate, if you are interested in any of these items, please contact me by private message, via the "interact" button!
Many thanks indeed for looking. I do have a considerable quantity of other Bavarian stock but I simply cannot bear to sell it, sorry. My Prussian layout may well have periods of Bavarian running but it is only a small branch hence the stock above is quite unsuitable.
