Although I have plans to rebuild I do not have any track at present. Despite this handicap I've just purchased one of ESU's E36 offerings - the EpIV BRye 693 Halbspeisewagen.
It will function in the D13431 train I plan to model, and as a look-see before buying the ABye 667 and Bye 667's for the D10334 011 hauled relief train depicted in the D730 thread. Unfortunately the full 5 coach train can't currently be made up of the ESU coaches so the balance will probably be from the forthcoming Brawa release.
Paint and print is exemplary with crisp edges and no bleed anywhere that I've noticed.
Colours look right .
The molding is crisp and all detail is factory fitted.
You get a small accessory bag containing brake pipes and end of train corridor connectors & hangars.
Because I've no track available at present it's difficult to properly assess the running qualities but all I can say is that the wheels spin very freely by hand.
Running # : 50 80 85-53 022-0
I'm most impressed with the coach but I'll let the pics say the rest.
EDIT: The relief bogie detail is a plug-in to the main bogie frame with 4 pins and when putting it back in the blister pack I noticed that one had become detached.
A bit of a fiddle to get back so something to watch out for. Along with the fine detail, a model to be handled with care.
